My opinion to show these pictures is to describe the fast development in this area of P.R. China.
In last years I saw so many changes that I decided to sample some of my own glimpses and hold them here.
IMHO here is the center of the tomorrow's world!

	The New Era Hotel Das Xin Shi Dai Hotel Last years we lived in the New Era Hotel near the Golden Beach of Yantai. The new high building was opened in 2004. Only 400 m from beach, it's very comfortable in the summer.
	Golden Beach - West View Der Goldene Strand von Yantai - Blick nach Westen The beach of Yantai bay very good for family bathing and is broad enough for kiting. In the summer the water is warm enough for long swimming tours, but it's nothing for scuba divers: The water of the Yellow river and other rivers along the coast make the water of the Bohai sea shining yellow and intransparent, the sight is only 1..2 meters!
	Golden Beach - West View Der Goldene Strand von Yantai - Blick nach Osten Last years a lot of new buildings has grown near the beach. This may be funny for these cinese people who spend first holidays at the beach and have a nice look over the sea. But if you know, that in Yantai area are living more than 5.0 million people, it is horrible how the nature near the city is destroyed for a 'perfect' world! The forgotten beach has increased to a concrete palast area ...
	Old and new together at the beach Alt und Neu zusammen am Strand Here you see a simple fishermans's cabin and in the background the skyline of a modern building at the beach. Who likes such a lot of steel, concrete and glass at the beach?
	Industrial skyline of Yantai Industriestadt Yantai Yantai is a modern industrial city Steel, chemical, automotive and other industries are settled here. Harbour and power station dominate the city.
	Fishermen Fischer Some fisherman in the river ... They remembered me a little bit of Huckleberry Finn on there small rafts.
	Wrecked fisherboat Bootswrack This wreck is only one of many. Last years I saw many of these boats with tuckling motors at the sea, with fisherman aboard or with divers in the water connecting shells. Yes, they have a very hard job!
